A group of pharmacy professionals started MAC Rx in 2014 to deliver pharmaceuticals to the Illinois long-term care market using the minimum allowable cost (MAC or SMAC) pricing model. We have grown to become the largest, independent, single-location, long-term care pharmacy in the Midwest, dispensing medications to residents in over 130 long-term care facilities and skilled nursing centers across Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin.
